Located in the Garhwal Himalayas, Kedarnath is one of India’s most important pilgrimage destinations and receives lakhs of visitors every year. The fragile high-altitude ecosystem faces increasing waste management challenges during pilgrimage seasons, making conservation and responsible travel practices critically important.

Cost of food and accommodation : INR Approx 1500 per day
A security deposit will be required to book accommodation
