Associate Project Coordinator

Role Summary

The Project / Team Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating project teams, supporting planning and implementation of activities, campaigns, and field programs, and ensuring smooth communication between on-site and off-site teams. The role requires regular follow-ups, progress tracking, team coordination, and support in execution of waste management and IEC initiatives as per the project scope and assigned regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily and weekly activities of field teams.
  • Ensure regular communication between on-site and off-site teams for smooth execution of projects.
  • Support planning, ideation, and implementation of campaigns, workshops, clean-up drives, and project activities.
  • Track progress of activities against plans and timelines and share regular updates with the management team.
  • Assist in preparing activity plans, schedules, and coordination notes.
  • Follow up with team members to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Support documentation, reporting, and consolidation of field updates.
  • Coordinate logistics and operational requirements for campaigns and project activities.
  • Assist in stakeholder coordination including community teams, partners, and internal departments.
  • Ensure activities are implemented as per project scope, guidelines, and jurisdiction.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Social Work, Sustainability, or any relevant field.
  • 0–3 years of experience in project coordination, field programs, NGOs, CSR projects, or sustainability sector.
  • Freshers with strong interest in waste management and environmental work are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong coordination, communication, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a dynamic, field-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
  • Basic knowledge or interest in waste management, sustainability, or community programs will be an advantage.
  • Comfortable with MS Office / Google tools (Word, Excel, Sheets, Docs, etc.).
